Rohit Ramesh Pawar was born on August 31, 2006, in Hanmantwadi Tanda, Maharashtra, where he currently resides. His father, Ramesh Pawar, is engaged in farming, primarily cultivating crops like Soya and Jowar, while his mother, Minakshi Pawar, is a homemaker. Rohit has siblings, an elder brother, and a younger brother, neither of whom play kabaddi. Rohit embarked on his kabaddi journey at the age of 14, starting as a Right Cover Defender. His standout skill on the kabaddi court is the chain tackle, a technique he has honed through rigorous practice and guidance from his coach, Vivek Bhatikare. Rohit trains at the Jai Hanuman Krida Mandal to refine his skills and improve his gameplay. One of Rohit's favorite kabaddi players is Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh, whose skillset he admires, particularly the thigh dive. Inspired by players like Shadloui, Rohit aims to emulate their techniques and excel in his performance on the kabaddi field. Rohit has represented his school in kabaddi competitions, achieving a gold medal in the School State tournament in 2019, showcasing his talent and dedication to the sport. Despite having taken a gap year in his education to participate in the under-19 school games, Rohit aspires to pursue a career in the police force in the future, combining his passion for kabaddi with his desire to serve the community.
