Vishal Gaikwad, born on August 10, 2002, is a native of Andori, Latur, Maharashtra, where he currently resides. His father, Antaram, is employed in housekeeping, while his mother, Sangeeta, works as a laborer. Vishal has two siblings: an elder brother named Buddha Bhushan and a younger brother named Tri Ratna, both of whom also actively participate in kabaddi. Vishal's journey in kabaddi began at the age of 16, inspired by the popularity of the sport in his village. He primarily operates as a Right Raider on the kabaddi court, specializing in executing bonus points effectively. Under the mentorship of coach Trimukh Bane, Vishal practices diligently at the Jilha Parishad Pathshala in Andori, honing his skills and perfecting his gameplay. One of Vishal's favorite kabaddi players is Pardeep Narwal, whom he admires for his exceptional jumping and dubki techniques on the court. Inspired by such skills, Vishal aims to emulate them in his own gameplay. While Vishal hasn't had formal representations yet, he actively participates in local tournaments, showcasing his talent and passion for the sport. One of his career highlights includes a remarkable high jump he executed during the Sarvodaya Game in Latur, which holds special significance for him. Currently pursuing his education up to 12th standard, Vishal aspires to compete in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) in the future, aiming to elevate his game to the professional level and fulfill his dreams in the sport.
