Born on March 12, 2006, Atharv resides in Satara with his family. His father, Ajit, works as a farmer, while his mother, Sarita, manages their household. Atharv is the only child in the family but has found immense passion and dedication for kabaddi from a young age. Atharv's journey in kabaddi commenced at the age of 15 when his grandfather, fondly called "dada" in the village, introduced him to the sport. Inspired by the energy and thrill of the game, Atharv quickly found his calling as a right cover defender, known for his exceptional blocking skills on the mat. Under the guidance of his coach, Ganesh Kamle, at the Uthkarsh Kreeda Club in Satara, Atharv has honed his talents and fine-tuned his defensive maneuvers.
