Pranav Shivaji Dhumal, born on April 8, 2005, hails from Umbraj, Satara, and currently resides in Pusegaon, Satara, Maharashtra. His father, Shivaji Dhumal, serves as a dedicated teacher in a government school, where he also imparts sports training to students from 5th to 10th standard, instilling a passion for sports in young minds. Pranav's mother, Seema, is a homemaker, providing unwavering support to her family. Pranav's journey in kabaddi commenced at the age of 11, driven by his innate fondness for the sport. Excelling as a left corner defender, he specializes in executing impeccable ankle holds, a skill honed under the guidance of Coach Arun Madane at the Shree Sevagiri Sports Academy in Pusegaon. Inspired by his idol, Girish Ernak, who shares the same playing position, Pranav aspires to emulate Ernak's prowess on the kabaddi court. Despite his dedication to kabaddi, Pranav has a keen interest in athletics and actively participates in various sports activities. Currently pursuing his Bachelor of Arts degree, Pranav's career highlights include clinching the first position in the Under-14 School Games held in Kidgaon, Satara.
