Sarvesh Shivaji Karavate, born on April 5, 2002, in Hupari, Maharashtra, is a kabaddi player representing the Kolhapur team in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Currently residing in Randal, Kolhapur, Maharashtra, Sarvesh comes from a family where his father, Shivaji Karavate, is involved in business, and his mother, Vaishali Shivaji Karavate, is a homemaker. He has a younger sister named Samrudhi. Sarvesh's journey in kabaddi began at the age of 12 when he started playing in school. He specializes in playing as a Left-Right Raider and is known for his exceptional Hand Touch technique on the kabaddi court. Under the mentorship of coach Uday Mali, Sarvesh hones his skills at the Uday Shava Kolhapur practice location. His favorite kabaddi player is Pradeep Narwal, whom he admires for his Dubki technique. Besides kabaddi, Sarvesh enjoys playing cricket as another sport of interest. Throughout his career, Sarvesh has represented his state in various categories, including Junior in 2020, Sub-Junior in 2017, and Open in 2022. One of the memorable moments in Sarvesh's career was a closely contested under-17 match where his team narrowly lost by one point. Despite the loss, this experience has motivated him to strive harder and improve his game. Sarvesh aspires to build a successful future in kabaddi and dreams of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). His dedication to the sport and determination to succeed highlight his passion for kabaddi.
