Prathamesh Jadhav

Prathamesh Vilas Jadhav, born on September 10, 2002, in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, is a kabaddi player representing the Kolhapur team in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Currently residing in Tisangi, Kolhapur, Maharashtra, Prathamesh's father, Vilas Jadhav, works as a farmer, while his mother, Shakuntala, is a homemaker. He has an elder brother named Shridhar Jadhav, who does not play kabaddi. Prathamesh started playing kabaddi in school at the age of 15 and primarily plays as a Left Corner Defender. His signature move is the Short Block, which he executes with precision on the mat. Under the guidance of his coach, Ramesh Bhendigiri, Prathamesh hones his skills at the Kabaddi Rraos Academy in Kolhapur. He admires Pavan Seheravat for his raiding skills, which serve as inspiration for his own game. In addition to kabaddi, Prathamesh enjoys playing cricket. He is currently pursuing a degree in Third Year BA, and his career highlights include a crucial raid followed by a super tackle that changed the course of a match, leading to victory for his team. Prathamesh aspires to play in the Pro Kabaddi League in the future.
