Sunil Ramesh Rathod, born on October 20, 2002, originates from Manta, Jalna, Maharashtra, where he began his kabaddi journey at the age of 15. Despite currently residing in Vasai, Mumbai, for his job as a construction supervisor and driver, Sunil remains deeply connected to his roots, representing Jalna in kabaddi tournaments and traveling to participate in matches. Born to Ramesh Rathod, who works in construction, and Latabai, a homemaker, Sunil grew up with two siblings, Anil and Sheetal, neither of whom shares his passion for kabaddi. Sunil's versatility as an All Rounder, proficient in both the Left Corner and Right Raider positions, makes him a valuable asset on the kabaddi mat. Under the mentorship of coach Sandesh Kalambate and practicing in his hometown of Manta, Sunil has honed his skills, with his exceptional Back Hold technique setting him apart.
