Hailing from a family deeply rooted in sports, with his father Angad Ganesh Singh serving as the SPG Club Manager, Viraj's journey in kabaddi began at the tender age of 6, inspired by his uncle, Ram Singh, a former kabaddi player himself. Specializing as a Left Cover Defender, Viraj has honed his skills on the kabaddi mat, with his signature move being the powerful Dash, which he executes with precision and agility. Under the mentorship of his beloved uncle, Viraj trains diligently at the Vikas Krida Mandal Club in Prabhadevi, where he continues to refine his technique and strategy. Despite his young age, Viraj has already made a mark in the kabaddi arena, representing his college at the Inter College tournament in Nashik in 2019.
