Pranav Dhumal

Pranav Deepak Dhumal, born on April 12, 2002, in Kalyan Thane, Maharashtra, currently resides in Pune. His father, Deepak Dhumal, is engaged in farming, while his mother, Namrata Deepak Dhumal, manages their home. Pranav has a younger sister named Sanskruti Deepak Dhumal. Pranav's journey in kabaddi commenced during his school days at the age of 14, where he discovered his natural talent for the sport. Excelling in the role of a Right Corner Defender, Pranav has honed his skills under the guidance of coaches Bajrang Pardeshi and Akash Ingale. Renowned for his impeccable ankle hold, Pranav is a formidable force on the kabaddi mat, thwarting opponents with his expert technique. Inspired by kabaddi stalwart Shubham Shinde, Pranav admires Shinde's mastery of the ankle hold, drawing inspiration from his gameplay. Pranav's dedication and talent have earned him recognition, including participation in the Junior State tournaments in 2020 and 2022, as well as the Shiv Chatrapati Chashak in 2022. Outside of kabaddi, Pranav has a passion for cricket and actively participates in the sport. He holds a Masters Degree in Finance, pursuing an MBA in the field. Despite his academic pursuits, Pranav remains committed to his kabaddi aspirations, aiming to compete in the Pro Kabaddi League. His ultimate goal is to showcase his defensive prowess on a larger stage, cementing his place as one of the league's top defenders.
