Jayesh Nitin Shirsath, born on January 10, 2008, in Shirpur, Maharashtra, is a promising kabaddi player representing the Dhule District team in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Currently residing in Warud, Maharashtra, Jayesh's journey in kabaddi began during his school days at the age of 16. Coming from a family with a farming background, Jayesh is the son of Nitin Shirsath, a farmer, and Sarla Nitin Shirsath, a homemaker. He has an elder brother named Raj Nitin Shirsath, who also plays kabaddi. Under the guidance of his coach, Jitendra Thakre, Jayesh practices regularly at the village ground to improve his skills. As a right raider, Jayesh excels in the kabaddi technique known as "kike." He draws inspiration from kabaddi player Aslam Imandar, particularly admiring his hand touch skills on the field. Despite not having any formal representations yet, Jayesh aspires to play for India in the future. Outside of kabaddi, Jayesh's focus has been on his education. He completed his education up to the 10th standard. With a strong determination to excel in kabaddi and represent his country on the international stage, Jayesh aims to pursue his kabaddi career passionately and achieve his dream of playing for India.
