Kamlesh Pravin Jadhav, born on February 3, 2004, hails from Japi Dhule, Maharashtra, and currently resides in Shivpur Dhule. Coming from a supportive family background with his father, Pravin Tulshiram Jadhav, and mother, Sonali Pravin Jadhav, he found his passion for kabaddi at the age of 13 while in school. Despite facing initial challenges, Kamlesh's determination and perseverance led him to excel in the sport. As a skilled Right Cover Defender, Kamlesh is known for his exceptional techniques, especially in executing back shoots and ankle holds, making him a formidable presence on the kabaddi mat. Under the guidance of coaches Bhushan Chavan, Jitendra Thakre, and Sumeet Adhav at Shivtej Krida Mandal, he hones his skills diligently, drawing inspiration from his favorite player, Aslam Inamdar, particularly admiring his bonus moves. Kamlesh's journey in kabaddi has seen notable milestones, including representing his state in the Junior category in 2023. Despite setbacks, such as the loss in a crucial district trail match, he remains undeterred, continuously striving to improve his game. With aspirations to serve his nation, Kamlesh aims to either join the Indian Army or secure a position in the Police force, showcasing his commitment not only to kabaddi but also to his country's service. Off the kabaddi field, he pursues his college graduation degree in BSc while engaging in cricket as his favorite sport besides kabaddi.
