Rohit Patil

Rohit Patil, born on September 18, 2004, in Dhule, Maharashtra, currently resides in Shirpur. His father, Sanjay Patil, earns a living as a farmer, while his mother, Sunanda Patil, manages their household. Rohit is the youngest among his two elder brothers, Priyanka and Pratiksha Patil, neither of whom shares his enthusiasm for kabaddi. Rohit's journey in kabaddi began in 2008 when his school's PT teacher, Marathe Sir, recognized his potential and invited him to join the school team. Since then, Rohit has excelled as a Right Corner Defender, mastering the art of ankle holds under the guidance of his coach, Bunty Borse, at Karmaveer Krida Mandal in Shirpur, Dhule. Inspired by Pankaj Mohite's exceptional raiding skills, Rohit harbors a deep admiration for the Indian player. Despite his passion for kabaddi, Rohit is currently pursuing a B.Pharmacy degree as a second-year student. His career highlights include his selection for the Yuva Kabaddi team, a moment he cherishes as the pinnacle of his journey. Looking ahead, Rohit aspires to venture into business while continuing to pursue his love for kabaddi and excel in the sport.
