Sachin Jagbir

Sachin was born on July 18, 2003, in the quaint village of Kahari, Haryana. Growing up in a humble farming family, he learned early on from his father, Jagbir Singh, the essence of hard work and perseverance. His mother, Santos Devi, managed their home with warmth and care, instilling in him the values that guide him today. Being the youngest, Sachin shares a special bond with his elder sister Aarti and younger brother Anil, even though none share his passion for kabaddi. At the age of 16, inspiration struck when he watched the Pro Kabaddi League, igniting a fiery desire to pursue the sport. This passion led him to transition to Sonipat, where he trained rigorously at the Neer Gulia Academy under the mentorship of Neer Gulia. A right raider by position, Sachin shines with his skills in Duki, Jump, and his personal favorite, the Running Hand Touch. His friend and fellow player, Sahil, not only motivates him but also shares the challenges of this exciting sport. Sachin has already made his mark, participating in the Yuva Kabaddi Series Summer Edition in 2022 with the Tadoba Tigers and competing in state-level tournaments. While currently pursuing his undergraduate degree, he aspires to balance his education with his dream of making it big in kabaddi, hoping to compete at national and international levels in the future.
