Raza Sayyed

Raza Sayyad, born on October 21, 2005, in Dhule, Maharashtra, currently resides in the same city. His father, Liyakat Ali, is involved in a four-wheeler business. Raza has an elder sister named Anam, who doesn't share his interest in kabaddi. Raza's journey in kabaddi began at the age of 10, inspired by watching the sport on television. Despite not having any siblings who play kabaddi, he developed a passion for the game and established himself as an All Rounder, proficient in positions such as Right Raider and Left Corner. Under the guidance of his coach Bhatushirsat, Raza hones his skills at the Cumin Club in Dhule. His favorite player, Aslam Inamdar, is admired for his bonus skills, which Raza seeks to emulate in his own gameplay. Raza has represented Dhule District in kabaddi tournaments thrice (in 2019, 2020, and 2023) and has also participated in the Junior State Championship in 2023. Apart from kabaddi, Raza enjoys playing cricket as his favorite sport. Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering (FyBTECH), Raza's career highlights include scoring 8 raid points in the final of an open club match in 2024, leading his team to victory. Looking ahead, Raza aspires to play in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), leveraging his skills and passion for the game to achieve success at the professional level.
