Swapnil Vinod Rathod, born on August 3, 2003, in Gandhinagar, Nanded, Maharashtra, hails from a family deeply rooted in agriculture, with his father Vinod Rathod and mother Savita Rathod working as farmers. Growing up amidst the rustic charm of Gandhinagar, Swapnil found his calling in kabaddi, inspired by his father, a local kabaddi player. Under his father's tutelage and training, Swapnil's passion for the sport blossomed, leading him to embrace the role of a Right Corner Defender, a position he has since mastered. Swapnil's journey in kabaddi is further enriched by the involvement of his siblings, with both his younger brother Sumit and sister Payal actively participating in the sport.
