Vishal Bedake

Vishal Balasaheb Bedake, born on February 22, 2005, in Shegaon, Ahmadnagar, Maharashtra, embodies the essence of perseverance and dedication in the realm of kabaddi. Hailing from a family of farmers, with his father Balasaheb and mother Gayabai tending to their agricultural pursuits, Vishal's journey in kabaddi commenced during his 8th standard. Intrigued by the spirited matches played by children in his village, Vishal discovered his passion for the sport and embarked on a remarkable odyssey as an All-Rounder, excelling in positions as a Right Raider and Right Cover. Under the tutelage of coaches Mukesh Jadhav and Dattatray Rajmane at the Durganath Sports Club in Nandurshikari, Vishal honed his skills, drawing inspiration from kabaddi icon Aslam Inamdar, renowned for his indomitable spirit and lightning-fast pace on the mat. Despite facing challenges, Vishal's unwavering determination propelled him to represent his state in the prestigious Khelo India Youth Games in 2024 and make significant contributions to his team's success in the 2021 edition, notably clinching a crucial victory against Solapur, showcasing his leadership and tactical acumen. Beyond kabaddi, Vishal finds solace in cricket, reflecting his diverse interests and sporting prowess. Currently pursuing a degree in BSc, Vishal harbors aspirations of securing employment through his passion for kabaddi, envisioning a future where his dedication and hard work translate into professional success.
