Shivparesh Thore

Shivparesh Ankush Thore, born on January 5, 2003, hails from Patahrdi Gaon, Nashik, Maharashtra. Growing up in the same locality where he currently resides, Shivparesh developed a passion for kabaddi at the age of 15. It all started during his school days, where he actively participated in kabaddi matches, igniting his interest in the sport. With a sturdy physique and a sharp mind, Shivparesh naturally gravitated towards the position of Left Cover Defender, showcasing exceptional skills in dashing moves. Under the mentorship of coaches Palash Pithe and Sandeep Bhagre, Shivparesh has honed his craft at the Trimurthi Patil Nagar Ground in Trimurthi, Nashik. His favorite player, Akash Shinde, inspires him with his remarkable raiding skills, motivating Shivparesh to constantly push his limits. Despite not having siblings who play kabaddi, Shivparesh's dedication and hard work have earned him recognition, including participation in the District camp twice in 2023 and 2021. Beyond kabaddi, Shivparesh finds joy in playing sports like Kho-Kho and cricket. Currently pursuing his B.A. degree as a second-year student, he dreams of excelling as an all-rounder in kabaddi and contributing significantly to the sport's growth. Despite facing setbacks like the controversial decision in the 2021 District Selection match, where his team Yuva lost the final by just one point due to a disputed call, Shivparesh remains resilient, determined to carve a successful career in kabaddi and make a mark in the sport's landscape.
