Harish Kekan

Harish Pradeep Kekan, born on July 29, 2003, in Manmad Nashik, Maharashtra, currently resides in the same locality. He comes from a family where his father, Pradeep Kekan, and mother, Jijabai Pradeep Kekan, provide unwavering support, along with his elder brother, Swapnil, and elder sister, Monali. Harish's journey in kabaddi commenced during his school days at the age of 10, where he discovered his passion for the sport. As an All-Rounder, Harish showcases versatility in his playing positions, excelling as both a Right Raider and Right Corner. His exceptional skills include the Running Hand Touch and the Back hold, techniques he continuously refines under the guidance of coach Akshay Hire at Samrath Krida Mandal. Inspired by the prowess of Akash Shinde, Harish particularly admires his Back kick maneuver. Despite focusing on his college education in the FY BSC stream, Harish's kabaddi career is marked by notable achievements, including being recognized as the Best Raider in local matches. With aspirations to compete in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), Harish Pradeep Kekan remains steadfast in his pursuit of excellence, fueled by his passion for the sport and a desire to make a mark on the professional stage.
