Rushikesh Zambare

Rushikesh Angad Zambare, born on June 1, 2006, hails from Jamgaon, Maharashtra, where he currently resides. Raised in a nurturing environment by his father Angad Zambare, a farmer, and his mother Swati Angad Zambare, a homemaker, Rushikesh developed a passion for kabaddi from an early age. With siblings Arti and Ajit, though none of them play kabaddi, Rushikesh found his calling on the kabaddi mat during his college years, starting his journey at the age of 16. A formidable left corner defender, Rushikesh specializes in executing precise ankle holds, thwarting opponents' raiding attempts and turning the tide in his team's favor. Under the guidance of coach Kailash Jagdale at Dhas Dada Sport Academy, Rushikesh refines his skills and sharpens his game to reach new heights of excellence. Inspired by the dynamic raiding prowess of Akash Shinde, Rushikesh admires him for his strategic raids, which serve as a constant source of inspiration for Rushikesh to elevate his own gameplay. Despite not having formal representations yet, Rushikesh's talent has been acknowledged in the Under 19 state level tournament in 2023. Currently pursuing his education up to 12th standard in the science stream, Rushikesh aspires to compete in the prestigious Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). With his determination, dedication, and exceptional skills on the kabaddi mat, Rushikesh Angad Zambare is poised to make his mark in the realm of kabaddi and fulfill his dreams of representing in the PKL arena.
