Ravindra Anil Rathod, born on April 5, 2007, in Georai, Beed, Maharashtra, is a rising kabaddi talent with a promising future ahead. Coming from humble beginnings, Ravindra is the son of Anil Dhanu Rathod, a plumber, and Lata Anil Rathod, a hardworking farmer. Growing up alongside his younger brother Rohit, Ravindra discovered his passion for kabaddi at a young age. Ravindra's journey in kabaddi began in the 5th standard when he started playing casually in his school. However, it was under the mentorship of his coach, Ketan Gaikwad (NIS), that Ravindra's potential truly blossomed. Inspired by Gaikwad's guidance, Ravindra transitioned into professional kabaddi, excelling as an All-Rounder with proficiency in positions such as Right-Left Raider and Right Turn. Renowned for his adeptness in executing Bonus moves and blocks, Ravindra's skillset reflects his dedication and hard work on the kabaddi mat. His favorite player, Mohit Goyat, a prominent figure in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), serves as a source of inspiration, motivating Ravindra to continually improve his game. Despite his young age, Ravindra has already made notable achievements, including representing his school in the State Championship of 2023, where his team secured 2nd place. One memorable career highlight for Ravindra was a school match in Beed against a formidable opponent. Despite facing a tough challenge and minimal practice, Ravindra and his team emerged victorious, showcasing their resilience and determination. Outside of kabaddi, Ravindra enjoys playing cricket and is currently pursuing his education up to the 12th standard, with a focus on the 11th stream. Despite his dedication to kabaddi, Ravindra also works part-time as a plumber, showcasing his commitment to balancing his passion with practical responsibilities. Looking ahead, Ravindra aspires to secure a job and ultimately make his mark in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL).
