Pavan Khande

Khande Pavan Vishnu, born on March 13, 2004, originates from Pimplegaon, Beed, Maharashtra, and currently resides in the same locality. His upbringing is in a household supported by his father, Vishnu Khande, a farmer, and his mother, Jayashree Khande, a dedicated homemaker. Growing up amidst his two younger sisters, Vaishnavi and Deepti, and younger brother, Aditya, Khande's journey into the world of kabaddi commenced at the age of 16. It was his Physical Education teacher who recognized his potential in kabaddi and actively involved him in matches, nurturing his talent and passion for the sport. Inspired by the game's intensity and strategy, Khande found his niche as a Left Cover Defender, utilizing his agility and quick reflexes to execute decisive dashes on the mat. Under the mentorship of Dr. Ketan Gaikwad at the Sharda Academy in Georai, Khande continues to hone his skills, striving for excellence in every aspect of his gameplay. With a keen eye for talent, Khande draws inspiration from local players like Shankar Maighani from the Sharda Academy, admiring not just their skills but also their exemplary personalities. Despite not participating in other sports, Khande's dedication to kabaddi has earned him recognition, including representation at the state level in 2022 and selection in the prestigious KMP Yuva Kabaddi Series, marking significant milestones in his career. In pursuit of his dreams, Khande is currently pursuing a college graduation degree in his first year of B.Com. With aspirations to compete at the highest echelons of kabaddi, including the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), Khande remains steadfast in his commitment to the sport, determined to make a mark on the professional circuit and inspire future generations with his prowess on the kabaddi mat.
