Abhijit Sathish Garje, born on July 6, 2003, hails from Mahasanghvi, Beed, Maharashtra, where he currently resides. Born into a family deeply rooted in farming, Abhijit is the son of Sathish Garge and Ranjana Garge, and he shares his childhood with his elder brother, Sujal. It was at the age of 16 that Abhijit embarked on his kabaddi journey, inspired by the local talent in his village, particularly Vaibhav Garje of the Bengal Warriors, whose dash skills left a lasting impression on him. Specializing as a Left Raider, Abhijit has mastered the art of the slip, employing agility and precision to outmaneuver his opponents on the kabaddi mat. Under the guidance of coach Madhukar Garje at the Jai Hanuman Krida Mandal in Mahasanghvi, Abhijit continues to refine his techniques and strategies, aiming to emulate the prowess of his favorite player. While kabaddi remains his primary passion, Abhijit also enjoys playing badminton and cricket. With notable representations at the state level in 2021 and 2022, as well as securing the 1st position in the University championships in 2023, Abhijit has already etched his name in the annals of kabaddi history. One of his career highlights includes his impressive performance at the Khelo India Youth Games trials in 2021, showcasing his potential on a national platform. In addition to his athletic pursuits, Abhijit places great emphasis on education and is currently pursuing a college graduation degree in BA (1st year). With aspirations of securing a job in the future, Abhijit remains dedicated to his training and endeavors to continue making strides in the world of kabaddi.
