Shubham Garje

Shubham Santosh Garje, born on August 14, 2005, in Maha Sangvi, Maharashtra, hails from a farming family, with his father Santosh Mahadev Garje and mother Mukta providing unwavering support. Currently residing in Maha Sangvi, Shubham discovered his passion for kabaddi at the age of 13, inspired by watching other children play in the village. As a Left Cover Defender, Shubham excels in the art of the Running Dash, displaying remarkable speed and agility on the kabaddi mat. Under the guidance of coach Madhukar Garje at the Jai Hanuman Kreeda Mandal in Maha Sangvi, Shubham hones his skills and strives for excellence. Shubham's admiration for kabaddi player Vibhav Garje, who represents the Bengal Warriors in the Pro Kabaddi League and has also competed in Khelo India and Junior Nationals, is profound. He considers Vibhav a mentor figure, learning valuable lessons from his experiences and appreciating his supportive nature. Shubham's achievements include winning the Silver Medal at the School State tournament in 2023, a testament to his dedication and talent in the sport. Apart from kabaddi, Shubham also enjoys wrestling, showcasing his versatility in the realm of sports. Currently pursuing his education up to the 12th standard, Shubham's aspirations include playing in the Pro Kabaddi League and securing a job in the Indian Army. With his determination, skill, and passion for kabaddi, Shubham aims to make his mark in the sport and serve his country with pride and honor.
