Raj Dnyaneshwar More, born on June 1, 2005, hails from Roha, Raigad, Maharashtra, where he currently resides. Coming from a supportive family background, with his father, Dyaneshwar More, employed in the private sector, and his mother, Vanita More, dedicated to homemaking, Raj found his calling for kabaddi during his 8th standard. Inspired by the spirited matches played by villagers, Raj eagerly joined in, kickstarting his journey in the sport. Primarily positioned as a Right Cover Defender, Raj exhibits exceptional talent in executing thigh holds, showcasing his defensive prowess on the kabaddi mat. Under the guidance of coach Dinesh Kamble at Jai Bajrang Roha, Roha, Raigad, Raj hones his skills and refines his techniques to become a formidable force in the game. While kabaddi remains his passion, Raj also enjoys indulging in local cricket matches, displaying his sporting versatility. Pursuing his education in the ITI (1st year) program, Raj remains open to exploring various avenues for his future. Despite not having specific aspirations at the moment, Raj continues to devote himself to kabaddi, representing his district and the Junior State in 2024, with a keen eye on further honing his skills and making strides in the sport.
