Dipti

Dipti, the formidable Right Cover Defender of Murthal Magnets in the JSG Women's Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024, is a force to be reckoned with in the kabaddi arena. Born on October 5, 2000, in Dohka Dina, Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, Dipti is the daughter of Jogender Singh, a diligent farmer, and Meena Devi, a dedicated homemaker. Growing up with her siblings, including one elder sister and three younger sisters, Dipti discovered her passion for kabaddi at the age of 15. Under the guidance of her initial coaches, Sanjay and Sandeep Kadiyan, Dipti honed her skills as a Right Cover Defender at the NECC Young Club Kaluwala in Charki Dadri. Her favorite player, Naveen Goyat, renowned for his exceptional raiding skills, hails from the same village, establishing a unique connection between them. Dipti's kabaddi journey includes representations at the School, College, District, State, and Nationals levels. Currently pursuing a Masters Degree in History, she is in her second year of MA and harbors aspirations of securing a job in the future. Dipti's career highlights include a remarkable third-place finish at Khelo India University, Guwahati, in February 2024. With her signature move, the Thigh Hold, and an affinity for Running Cover, Dipti continues to make strides in the world of kabaddi, showcasing her prowess as a defender and aspiring to contribute significantly to the sport.
