Anchal's journey is rooted in her hometown, where her late father, Sheshdhar Maurya, and her homemaker mother, Shashikala, nurtured a family alongside her younger brother Yash and sister Kajal. Anchal's introduction to Kabaddi unfolded at the age of 14, guided by Coach Hoob Lal at the homeground in Jagapati.
