Nishu Nain, born on September 5, 2005, in Basi, Uttar Pradesh, is making waves as a skilled Women's Kabaddi player. Growing up in a sports-oriented family with her father, Pardeep Singh, working as a farmer, and her mother, Sushila, dedicated to homemaking, Nishu's Kabaddi journey began under the guidance of her first coach and father, Pawan Nain, a Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police. Developing her skills at the Nain Sports Academy in Basi, UP, Nishu emerged as a formidable Right Raider, showcasing a distinctive Turning skill. Starting her Kabaddi journey at the age of 12, Nishu has excelled at various levels, participating in School, College, District, State, and School National tournaments. Her playing style is characterized by a dynamic combination of jumps and raiding techniques. Notably, in a local tournament in Basi a few years ago, she exhibited a stellar performance, scoring 10-12 raid points. Balancing sports and academics, Nishu is pursuing a College Graduation degree in Physical Education (BPS). Her aspiration is to ascend to the national level, driven by the passion instilled by her father, who played a pivotal role in introducing her to the captivating world of Women's Kabaddi.
