Born on March 5, 2002, in the picturesque town of Rasoolpur, Jatan, Anjali emerges as a dynamic force in the realm of Kabaddi. Representing the Periyar Panthers in the JSG Women's Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024, Anjali's journey is rooted in the rustic charm of Uttar Pradesh. Her father, Balmukand, a hardworking farmer, and her mother, Babita Devi, a dedicated housewife, provided the foundation for Anjali's aspirations. Amidst siblings, two elder sisters, and a younger brother, Anjali found her calling as a Right Raider. Anjali's tryst with Kabaddi began at the age of 15-16, inspired by the spirited girls in her school who played the sport. Under the mentorship of Sunil from Rasoolpur, her first coach, and Jeetendra from Kakda, her second coach, Anjali refined her skills on the grounds at Kakda. Known for her impeccable Dubki move, Anjali draws inspiration from Kabaddi maestro Pardeep Narwal, mastering the art of this signature move. Her Kabaddi journey boasts representations at the State and Senior State levels, clinching a coveted gold in the Senior State Championship. Beyond Kabaddi, Anjali's love for the game extends to actively participating in it as another sport.
