Kirti

Hailing from the vibrant city of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, Kirti, born on December 11, 2006, is a rising star donning the colors of the Periyar Panthers in the JSG Women's Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024. Raised in a nurturing environment by her father, Sanjeev Kumar, a diligent farmer, and her mother, Aruna, a dedicated Government School teacher, Kirti's journey into Kabaddi began at the age of 13. Growing up with her elder brother Aryan, Kirti found her passion for Kabaddi, specializing as a dynamic Left Raider. Under the guidance of coach Rajbeer Taliyan at the Taliyan Sports Academy in Meerut, Kirti has honed her skills, with her Turning Point move standing out as her forte on the Kabaddi mat. A fervent admirer of Pawan Sehrawat, the Bengaluru Bulls player, Kirti is captivated by his exceptional jump and admirable nature. Kirti has left an indelible mark at various levels, representing in School, College, District, State, and Nationals. Her favorite move, the Hand Touch, adds finesse to her raiding strategy. Beyond Kabaddi, Kirti's athleticism extends to Athletics, where she used to participate in running events. Balancing sports and academics, Kirti is pursuing a College Graduation degree in Computer Applications, currently in her first year. Her career highlights include a triumphant victory at the State Championship in 2023, hosted in her hometown Meerut. Looking ahead, Kirti aspires to represent her country in the prestigious Asian Games, driven by her unwavering passion for Kabaddi. Kirti's journey unfolds as a testament to family support, dedication, and a fervent ambition to make a mark in the realm of Kabaddi.
