Sidhu Sigana

Sidhu, born on June 1, 2002, in Salem, Tamil Nadu, currently resides there with his family. His father, Siguna, works as a daily wage laborer, while his mother, Tamilarasi, is a homemaker. Sidhu has an elder brother, Suresh, and an elder sister, Soniya, with Suresh having played kabaddi in the past. Sidhu discovered his interest in kabaddi at the age of 15, inspired by watching others play in his village. He primarily plays as a Left Raider, with his best skill being the Toe Touch. Under the guidance of coaches Subash and Ramesh in Salem, Sidhu practices at Samy Academy in Thalaiyur. Aslam Inamdar is Sidhu's favorite kabaddi player, known for his speed and agility as a left raider. Sidhu has participated in various tournaments, including the Yuva Kabaddi Series, Senior State Championship in 2023, and University South Zone matches representing Periyar University in 2022. He considers his participation in YKS and University matches as his most significant achievements. Currently pursuing a degree in B.Com, Sidhu aims to play in the Pro Kabaddi League in the future. He also enjoys playing cricket as another sport. Despite not currently being employed, Sidhu harbors aspirations to excel in kabaddi and make a mark in the professional league.
