Meet the talented kabaddi player who hails from the vibrant town of Chinnaganjam in Andhra Pradesh. Born on June 29, 2003, he grew up in a close-knit family, with his father, Subba Reddy, working tirelessly as a farmer, and his mother, Padma, managing the home. Alongside his elder brother, Sheshu Kumar Reddy, who is also a kabaddi player, he found a source of inspiration right at home. His journey into the world of kabaddi began at the age of 16, sparked by watching senior players take to the mat. Under the guidance of his coach Giri Babu—an esteemed Gold medalist and his favorite player—he honed his skills, particularly becoming proficient in the chain block technique and the ankle hold move. Currently residing in his hometown and pursuing an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Arts, he balances studies with his passion for kabaddi. Recently, he participated in the Winter Edition 2023, representing the Nilgiri Knights, which motivated him to set higher aspirations. Dreaming big, he aims to make his mark in the Pro Kabaddi League and eventually wear the Indian jersey on an international stage. With determination and a love for the sport, the future looks bright for this promising left corner defender.
