Kunal J was born on July 15, 2005, in Fatehpur, a lively area nestled in the Delhi NCR region. Growing up in a supportive family, he is the youngest of three brothers. His father, Joginder, works for the Electricity Board, while his mother, Biram, lovingly takes care of the family. Even though his brothers, Ankit and Amit, are not into kabaddi, their encouragement has always pushed him to follow his dreams. At the age of 15, Kunal found his passion for kabaddi, ignited by a local talent named Niraj, who showcased impressive skills as both a raider and an all-rounder. Kunal's focus on becoming a left raider has led him to train hard at Tanwar Sport Club, where he is guided by his dedicated coaches, Rohtar Tanwar and Krishan Dagar. His favorite move is the hand touch, inspired by his idol, Naveen Kumar Goyat. Although Kunal is yet to reach international heights, he takes pride in representing his team in various Junior National competitions, facing strong opponents like Maharashtra and Goa in the quarter-finals. With dreams of making a name for himself and bringing recognition to his village, Kunal aspires to secure a government job while pursuing his goal of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League. With unwavering dedication, he is determined to carve out a bright future in the sport.
