Born on June 12, 2005, in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, this budding kabaddi player has always shown promise and dedication. Growing up in a supportive family with his father, Udham Singh, who is a businessman, and his mother, Yogi Devi, a housewife, his childhood was filled with inspiration. He has two elder brothers, Kapil and Shivam, who have encouraged his journey, even though they do not share the same passion for kabaddi. At the age of 16, he discovered his love for kabaddi and hasn’t looked back since. Based in Dekhand, Delhi, he trains at the NM Kabaddi Academy under the mentorship of his favorite player and coach, Nitin Mavi. Known for his agility and skills, especially his ankle hold and thigh hold, he plays as a left corner defender, a position that showcases his tactical acumen on the mat. His proudest achievement so far has been winning gold at the Junior State level, representing his district. With aspirations of one day wearing the national colors, he dreams of representing India in kabaddi. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in his first year, he balances studies with his growing passion for the sport, always aiming higher in both arenas.
