Born on May 3, 2004, in the heartfelt coastal town of Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, Malladi Srihari is a rising star in the kabaddi world. He grew up in a loving family, with his father, Malladi Ram Babu, working as a fisherman and his mother, Satyaveni, taking care of their home. Sharing laughter and dreams with his elder sister Srilakshmi and his younger sibling Prameela, Srihari's childhood was filled with warmth, yet he stood out with his passion for kabaddi. Srihari's journey into the sport began at just 14 years old, when he was captivated by the intense thrill of action-packed matches. Under the mentorship of Coach Sai Prasad at Sai Sports Club, he meticulously developed his abilities, particularly shining as a right cover defender. He takes pride in his blocking skills, which he considers his best attribute, and is inspired by the impressive defensive maneuvers of his favorite player, Sunil. Having represented the Nilgiri Knights in tournaments like the YKS Monsoon Edition and the Junior Nationals in 2024, Srihari is on an unwavering path to establish himself in the sport. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in hand, he aspires to reach the Pro Kabaddi League, dedicating every effort towards making that dream a reality. Ready to embrace challenges ahead, he looks forward to making his mark on the kabaddi landscape.
