Anuj Negi was born on July 26, 2006, in the vibrant streets of Delhi, and from a young age, he showed a flair for athletics. His journey into kabaddi began at the age of 12, ignited by the inspiring performances of senior players. It was a decisive moment for Anuj, as he traded the casual games of childhood for the intense, competitive world of kabaddi. Raised in a close-knit family, Anuj finds great strength in the support of his father, Manwar, a dedicated driver, and his mother, Parvathy, who manages the home with love and care. His elder brother, Sarvesh stands solidly behind Anuj, cheering him on every step of the way. Training at the NM Kabaddi Academy in Tekhand under coach Nithin Mavi, Anuj is honing his skills daily. As a Right Raider, he particularly enjoys mastering the Bonus point, a skill he admires in his role model, Naveen Kumar. Anuj has already made his mark by playing in the Junior Nationals and dreams of one day showcasing his talents in the Pro Kabaddi League.
