In the vibrant town of Niloufer, Telangana, a young star named Koyalkar Suraj was born on February 25, 2002. With his father Naresh running a successful business and his mother Sarita nurturing the family home, Suraj was raised in a supportive environment alongside his brothers Anoop, Vignesh, Lakhan, and Tilak. Although none of his siblings pursued kabaddi, Suraj discovered his love for the sport at the age of 14 during school games, which opened up a new world of excitement for him. Now, as a Second Year student in Bachelor of Commerce, Suraj balances his academic journey at college and his fierce passion for kabaddi. He proudly plays as a Right Corner Defender at the Navshakti Kabaddi Club, where he has mastered the art of the ankle hold—a skill he admires in his favorite players, Ravinder Pahal and Sandeep Narwal, who inspire him with their aggressive defensive tactics. Suraj has already made his mark by participating in the Junior National 2023, and he dreams of stepping onto the bigger stage of Pro Kabaddi. With his unwavering dedication and relentless spirit, he is ready to tackle challenges head-on and shine brightly on the kabaddi mat.
