Rasmi Ranjan Bal

Rasmi Ranjan Bal was born on April 10, 2001, in the serene village of Balhar in Talcher Sadar, Odisha. Raised in a loving family with his father, Pradeep Kumar Bal, a diligent driver, and his mother, Rebati Bal, a devoted homemaker, he learned the importance of hard work and determination from a young age. Living with his younger sister, Sangam Mitra Bal, who is happily married, he often finds encouragement and support from those closest to him. His journey into the world of kabaddi began at the age of 19, sparked by the energetic matches that filled the village grounds. Surrounded by friends and family who shared the same passion, Rasmi felt compelled to join in. With the guidance of his mentor, Himanshu Samal, a senior in the village, he quickly developed skills, particularly excelling in his favorite move, the hand touch. One of the standout moments in his budding career was earning second place at an All India game in Chhattisgarh, an achievement that boosted his confidence and drive. Currently, Rasmi works as a safety officer at NTPC Thermal while aspiring to make his mark in the Pro Kabaddi league, inspired by the dazzling performances of his idol, Maninder Singh. His story is just beginning, and he’s ready to chase his dreams with all his heart.
