Chandru, born on October 10, 2003, hails from Dasarahalli, Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu. His father, N Sakthivel, is a businessman, and his mother, S Vani, manages their household. Chandru has a younger sister named Sandhya. At the age of 14, Chandru began his Kabaddi journey as an All Rounder, specializing in positions such as Right Corner Defender and Right Cover Defender. His favorite skill is the dash, which he executes with precision on the Kabaddi mat. Under the guidance of his school PT Sir, named Poovarasu, he trains rigorously at the Karpagam University Ground in Coimbatore. Chandru draws inspiration from Sunil, a player from the Jaipur Pink Panthers Kabaddi team, admiring his leadership qualities and ability to control the game. Although Kabaddi is his primary focus, Chandru also enjoys playing volleyball, considering himself an average player in the sport. His Kabaddi achievements include representing Dharmapuri in the state-level tournaments. Chandru takes pride in his participation in Yuva Kabaddi and aspires to excel further in the sport. Despite his dedication to Kabaddi, he values education highly and is pursuing MCA degree, aiming to pursue a career as a businessman while continuing to make a mark in Kabaddi.
