Jenistan Moses was born on March 18, 2005, in the charming coastal town of Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. Growing up in a supportive family, with his father, Sebastian, working hard as a farmer, and his mother, Arokya Charlie, managing the household, Jenistan thrived in a close-knit environment. As the middle child, with his younger brother George and sister Jeslin cheering him on, he felt encouraged to pursue his dreams. At the age of 15, Jenistan's passion for kabaddi ignited when he watched senior players showcasing their skills in his village. This spark led him to train under Coach Govind Raj at Karpagam University in Coimbatore. There, he perfected his craft, focusing on his favorite technique, the chain tackle. As a Left Cover Defender, he quickly gained recognition, contributing to a silver medal win for Thoothukudi in the Junior State Championship in 2024. In addition to his athletic pursuits, Jenistan is currently in his Second Year of a Bachelor of Commerce program. He harbors aspirations of joining the Indian Army while continuing to excel in kabaddi. Inspired by his favorite player, Jaideep, who shares his defensive skills, Jenistan is eager to embrace future challenges both on and off the field.
