Vasanthakumar T, born on December 8, 2003, in the vibrant town of Manapparai, Tamil Nadu, is a rising star in the arena of kabaddi. Now living in Tirupur, his journey into this exciting sport began when he was just 13 years old. The passion ignited by watching his friends play in the village has turned into a driving force that keeps him motivated every day. Life hasn't always been easy for Vasanth. He faced the heartbreaking loss of his father, Thiruppathi, but found strength in his mother, Sakunthala, who tirelessly works in a textile factory to provide for the family. Vasanth shares a close-knit relationship with his younger brother, Gowthaman. Together, they support one another through the challenges life throws their way. Under the guidance of Coach Pandi, Vasanth trains at Karpagam College, honing his skills as an all-rounder, specifically excelling as a left corner defender and right raider. His favorite move, the dash, mirrors the skills of his idol, Ajith, a well-known figure in the Pro Kabaddi League. With dreams of one day playing in the league while pursuing a degree in Commerce, Vasanth is determined to make a name for himself and secure a stable future.
