Mugilan Murugan

Mugilan M, born on March 6, 2004, in Theni, Tamil Nadu, finds himself amidst the lush landscapes of Karpagam University, Coimbatore, where he pursues his college education alongside his passion for Kabaddi. Fascinated by the intensity and strategy involved, he eagerly embraced Kabaddi, finding his niche as a dynamic Right Cover Defender. Under the guidance of Ajay, a seasoned coach from his university, Mugilan hones his skills, specializing in the art of Chain Blocks, thwarting opponents' raiding attempts with precision and agility. A fan of Sunil, a prominent Pro Kabaddi League player, Mugilan admires his playing style and positioning on the mat, drawing inspiration from his performances. In addition to Kabaddi, Mugilan finds joy in playing Volleyball, showcasing his versatility in sports. Despite his sporting pursuits, he remains committed to his BCom studies, currently in his third year. Mugilan's Kabaddi journey is marked by notable achievements, including representations at the Junior and Senior State levels and his university's team, Karpagam University, in 2022 and 2023, respectively. One of his career highlights includes a memorable match in Salem, where he played a pivotal role for Karpagam University in the quarter-finals against Kattakudi, leading his team to victory through a stellar collective performance. Looking ahead, Mugilan aspires to secure a stable and fulfilling job, leveraging his academic and sporting prowess to build a promising future for himself and his family.
