Dineshkumar Ganabathi

Dinesh Kumar G, born on June 2, 2004, originates from Konamedu in Tirupattur District, Tamil Nadu. Growing up in a household led by his mother, G Selvi, after his father's unfortunate passing, Dinesh found solace and support in his siblings: elder brother Ajith Kumar, younger brother Ganesh, and elder sisters Sandhya and Sangeeta. Despite not being directly involved in Kabaddi, they have been pillars of strength in Dinesh's journey. Inspired by the game since the age of 12, Dinesh embarked on his Kabaddi voyage as a Right Raider. He honed his skills under the mentorship of Satish, a local coach whom he regards as his backbone. Dinesh draws motivation from Kabaddi Babu, a skilled player from Chennai, whose gameplay he admires greatly. His dedication and talent have led him to represent Karpagam University in various tournaments, including the Yuva Kabaddi Series, South Zone University Games, and Junior State championships. One of his proudest moments came in 2022 when, during a crucial match in Krishnagiri, Dinesh scored a two-point raid, securing victory for his team and earning the Best Raider Award. Currently pursuing his B.Com degree, Dinesh harbors ambitious dreams of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League and representing the Junior India Team. With his favorite skills being Hand Touch and Bonus, Dinesh continues to strive for excellence, fueled by his passion for Kabaddi and the unwavering support of his family.
