Yogananthan Senthilvelan

Yogananthan S was born on July 22, 2002, in Ranipett, Tamil Nadu, and currently resides in Jolarpettai. His father, Senthilvelan S, earns a living as a milkman, while his mother, Santhi, manages their household. Yogananthan has an elder brother named Deivasigamani S, who also shares his passion for kabaddi. At the age of 15, Yogananthan started his journey in kabaddi as an All Rounder, specializing in both the Left Cover and Left Raider positions. Under the guidance of coach Madhankumar, a PT teacher at the Government School, Yogananthan hones his skills at PK Sports in Jolarpettai. His favorite player, Vishwa, who participated in the Yuva Kabaddi Series, Madurai Edition 2023, shares Yogananthan's position as a left raider, and he admires Vishwa's skills on the field. Yogananthan has represented his district in the Senior State 2023 tournament in Ranipett and also participated in the South Zone Inter-University Games 2023 representing Thiruvalluvar University. His career highlight includes being selected for the Palani Tuskers team squad in the reserved player list for the Madurai Edition. Apart from kabaddi, Yogananthan enjoys playing volleyball and actively participates in other sports. Currently pursuing a degree in BBA, Yogananthan aspires to secure a job in the Railways and hopes to popularize the name of his coach, Madhankumar, among more people.
