Ranjith Mohan

Ranjith M, born on December 13, 2000, emerged from the vibrant city of Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, where he currently resides. His father, Mathanamohan R, serves as a journalist, while his mother, Tamilselvi M, nurtures their home with care. In his family circle is his elder sister, Menahavairasutha, who shares his journey but not his passion for kabaddi. Ranjith's tryst with Kabaddi began during his 10th standard, inspired by the seniors in his village, NPT Seelan, Divakar, David, Tamil & Champion who competed in local tournaments. Since then, he has honed his skills as an All Rounder, excelling as both a Left Raider and Right Corner. Under the guidance of coaches Diwakar, David, Suri, Murugesan (SI Police) and Christopher at the Veera Tamizhan Sports Academy in Tirunelveli, Ranjith refines his techniques with dedication and perseverance. One of Ranjith's idols in the Kabaddi realm is Chandra Ranjith, a prominent figure in the Pro Kabaddi League known for his exceptional skills. Admiring Chandra Ranjith's prowess, Ranjith aspires to emulate his success on the mat. While Jump remains his favorite skill, symbolizing his agility and finesse on the court, Ranjith also enjoys cricket as a recreational pursuit. In his academic journey, Ranjith has completed his Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication, laying the foundation for his future endeavors. Despite his achievements in various tournaments, including winning the Erode district open tournament in 2023 with St. Joseph College, Trichy, Ranjith remains humble and focused on his aspirations. His ultimate dream is to become a National Institute of Sports (NIS) coach, imparting his knowledge and expertise to aspiring athletes.
