Ravichandran Meganathan, born on February 21, 2003, in Gerugambakkam, Tamil Nadu, comes from a supportive family. His father, Meganathan K, works as an electrician, and his mother, Visalatchi, is a dedicated homemaker. He has an elder brother named Dinesh Kumar and an elder sister named Revathi, neither of whom plays Kabaddi. Ravichandran's journey in Kabaddi began at a young age of 9-10, where he discovered his talent as a Left Raider. His innate ability to escape opponents' grips became his defining skill on the Kabaddi mat. Under the mentorship of his elder brother, Dinesh Kumar, he trained rigorously at his own club named Ellainger Anne Sports Club and also represented his college team. Inspired by his favorite player, Thendral & Ajith Kumar, Ravichandran admires his hand touch skills and stylish approach to scoring points. Despite his dedication to Kabaddi, he also enjoys playing football and actively participates in other sports. Throughout his Kabaddi journey, Ravichandran has represented the state team at various levels, including Senior (2 runners-up), Junior (participants), and Sub-Junior (participants). His career highlights include achieving 2nd runner-up in the state seniors' match and winning local matches in his neighborhood. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Ravichandran aspires to secure a government job in the future, leveraging the skills and discipline he has acquired through Kabaddi. His determination to succeed in his career through the sport reflects his ambitious spirit and commitment to his goals.
