T Subash

Subash, born on December 18, 1999, is a native of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Currently residing in the same city, he comes from a humble background, with his father, Thanigamalai, working as a coolie and his mother, Revathi, being a homemaker. Subash has an elder brother named Karthik and an elder sister named Preethi, both of whom do not actively participate in kabaddi. Subash embarked on his kabaddi journey at the age of 17, specializing as a left raider. Known for his agility and tactical prowess, he excels in various aspects of raiding, including rolling, avoiding tackles, bonus points, and jumping. Under the guidance of his coach, John, Subash hones his skills and refines his gameplay at a park near his house, which serves as his practice location. Subash holds John in high regard as his favorite player. He admires John's skills, especially his ability to score bonus points and touch points, as well as the way he executes rolls after making a touch. Although Subash does not play any other sport currently, he works as a delivery boy alongside pursuing his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, currently in his third year. His career highlights include participating in inter-college tournaments and representing Chennai districts. Subash aspires to represent Tamil Nadu in kabaddi in the future, showcasing his determination and passion for the sport.
