Sivasuriya Rajendran

Siva Surya R, born on January 27, 2001, in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, is an integral part of the Jayachitra Club competing in the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament. His father, Rajendran, works as a daily wage laborer, while his mother, Santhi, is a homemaker. Siva has one elder sister named Sugirtha, who does not play kabaddi. Siva discovered his passion for kabaddi at the age of 15, inspired by watching people in his village play the sport. He excels as a Left Cover Defender, with his standout skill being the Running Block. Kanan, from his village, serves as his coach, guiding him in his kabaddi journey. Siva practices at the SVV Eathamozhy facility. Jeeva Kumar, renowned for his exceptional defensive skills and his performances in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), is Siva's favorite player, admired for his expertise in the game. In terms of representations, Siva has participated in the University South Zone tournaments in 2021 and 2022, representing Bharithiyar University. His career highlights include winning the State Championship Gold Medal in 2023 for Kanyakumari district. Beyond kabaddi, Siva enjoys playing cricket and has completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree. His future aspiration is to serve as a police officer, reflecting his commitment to public service.
