M Sugan

In the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament, representing AMKC Gobi, we have Sugan M. Born on December 6, 2003, in Panruti, Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, Sugan currently resides in Manadikuppam, Cuddalore. His father, Murugan R, works as a Boiler Operator in Chennai, while his mother, Jayalakshmi M, is a homemaker. Sugan has an elder brother, Sharan M, who plays kabaddi for Karpagam University. Sugan started playing kabaddi in 2020, primarily taking up the position of Left Cover Defender. His best skills include Block and Advance Tackle. He receives coaching from Enbasekran, a kabaddi coach in Cuddalore, and also receives guidance from friends in the hostel to improve his skills. His practice location is at SAI Chennai. His favorite kabaddi players are Jaideep Dahiya and Surjit Singh, both renowned Pro Kabaddi players, whose skills inspire him to enhance his own. Sugan has represented various teams, including the Madras University team in the South Zone University 2023 tournament, the Cuddalore District team in the Junior State 2022, and the Senior State 2023 tournament. Outside of kabaddi, Sugan enjoys playing cricket. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in History. His future aspirations include playing for the Indian Kabaddi Team, participating in the Pro Kabaddi League, and securing a job in the Railways. Sugan aims to excel in kabaddi and become a star in the sport.
