In the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament, representing AMKC Gobi, we have Harinivas. Born on February 17, 2000, in Erode, Tamil Nadu, Harinivas currently resides in Gobichettipalayam. His father, Mahendran, works as a daily wage laborer, and his mother, Sudha, is a homemaker. He has a younger sister named Neelambegai, who also plays kabaddi in the village. Harinivas started playing kabaddi at the age of 16, inspired by his father, who was also a kabaddi player. His father, Mahendran, groomed him to become a kabaddi player, and Harinivas primarily operates as a Right Corner Defender. His favorite skill in kabaddi is the Running Dash. He practices at AMKC Gopichettipalayam, and his favorite kabaddi player is Surender Nada, a former Indian Kabaddi team player known for his ankle holds. Harinivas has represented in various tournaments, including the University Games - South Games in 2021 and 2022 representing PRIST University, as well as State Championships in Erode. He has been recognized as the Best Defender in local tournaments. Currently pursuing a College Graduation degree in BA Economics, Harinivas aspires to become a Forest Officer in the future. His dedication to kabaddi and his aspiration to serve in the forest department reflect his commitment to both sports and nature conservation.
