Darshan Irappa, born on May 28, 2003, is a budding kabaddi talent hailing from Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Raised in a supportive family, Darshan is the son of Irappa Kuchkorvi and Sunita Kuchkorvi, who works in a job. He has two younger sisters, Bhumi and Rakshta, who, although not into kabaddi, cheer him on in his endeavors. Despite starting his kabaddi journey just six months ago, Darshan has shown remarkable potential as a left-right raider, displaying a knack for swift and agile movements, especially excelling in jumps. Under the mentorship of coach Sajan Shaikh at the Sahiyadri Krida Mandal, Darshan continues to hone his skills and technique. Inspired by the finesse of renowned kabaddi player Aslam Inamdar, Darshan particularly admires Inamdar's signature toe touch move. Besides kabaddi, Darshan also enjoys playing cricket, showcasing his versatility in sports. Although yet to make any representations, Darshan aspires to play in prestigious tournaments like the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). With dedication and perseverance, coupled with his natural talent and enthusiasm for the sport, Darshan aims to carve a successful career in kabaddi, aiming for recognition on the PKL stage.
